No Brownies

We just ate dinner. Yesterday I made brownies for dessert, but by today they're all gone. So as we're eating, Isaac says, "Mom, where are the brownies." I respond, "They're gone, we ate them all yesterday." Then he looked at his plate and said, "Oh, that's pretty boring." Lincoln chimed in, "That's pretty frustrating." Boring chicken with frustrating apples. That's what we ate for dinner.

We have dinners like that all the time! Glad I'm not the only mom who makes boring, frustrating dinners. I'll have to tell the kids.

Cute. Desserts don't last long around here either. :)

Funny! I love that Lincoln says "frustrating", like he's an adult.

That's hillarious. Remember when it was so exciting that your kids could talk? Some days I wish mine could go back to not being able to communicate. Except that I would laugh a whole lot less without the great things they say.
