No Brownies

We just ate dinner. Yesterday I made brownies for dessert, but by today they're all gone. So as we're eating, Isaac says, "Mom, where are the brownies." I respond, "They're gone, we ate them all yesterday." Then he looked at his plate and said, "Oh, that's pretty boring." Lincoln chimed in, "That's pretty frustrating." Boring chicken with frustrating apples. That's what we ate for dinner.

Clarify

Okay, I guess it does look like Isaac is in kindergarten since he rides the bus. But he's only 4 and in preschool. Here in Nebraska in order to get free speech therapy, kids do preschool in the elementary schools. So don't worry, you're not behind or anything.

School Days

Lincoln is in a once-a-week preschool. 3 friends and I rotate months and do lessons, activities, etc. based on a certain letter. Lincoln is loving it.
It was pretty sunny on Isaac's first day of school...hence the super squinting. He loves his teacher and tells me he gets to go to the big school because he's big.
We are not in the bussing zone so I take Isaac to school and then he rides to his friend's house where I pick him up. It's farther away than the school but he desperately wanted to take the bus. The things we do for our kids!

This Posting Will Self-Destruct...

alright, I don't know why you wanted this, but here it is. Yes, I even wore makeup to try to look...smaller? Doesn't do a darn thing.
This is our house.
Here are the boys on the front porch. Isaac has an aversion to keeping his tie up.
We went to the Nebraska state fair. I think this may be my last state fair for a long time. There are some freaky people at fairs. One guy told me "Hey, cool shirt. I've never seen one like that before." I was wearing a blue t-shirt from Old Navy. Granted, it had starts on it, but I didn't think it was that weird. Jon and I were confused. Then some lady randomly told us all about the stuff she was buying for her daughter. Who are these people?
