Lots of updates

I took Lincoln's preschool group to the fire station.
Isaac doing some patterning with his jelly beans. It makes me feel better about giving him sugar.

This is classic Isaac - he fell asleep with his sweet hat. Don't you wish you could wear an underwear hat.

Elijah at 4 months.

I love love this picture

Elijah loving the grass - 6 months

Lincoln is three years old - has been since Feb. but it took me a while to take his pictures. I tried to get his right side because he gave him self a black eye on the left eye with his magnadoodle. Those things are lethal. Some praise for Lincoln - he's a master negotiator, he can write his name (not in the write order, but all the letters are there), he has a seriously adult sense of humor and silly humor also. Yesterday Jon asked him if he was a pansy, Lincoln responds, "I'm not a pansy, I'm a mansy." He came up with that all on his own. Love this guy.

Yesterday I did my first triathlon - here are some pictures from the day. We got 7 people from our ward to participate.

Lookin' sweet in my cap and goggles.

Crossing the finish.

All the single ladies. All the single ladies.

We did it.

Christmas Card

Making Gingerbread houses - decorating and eating the decorations.

We Wish You A Merry Christmas And A Happy New Year!

Well, I'm using this blog for my Christmas card this year. :) I'm going green. Okay, really I've never done a Christmas card and this is the best it's gonna get for now.

We had a great Christmas in Texas. The boys were thrilled to spend time with their Grandparents, aunts and uncles. They love all the people. And we love it too.

Enjoy the pics. This will be the last blog I do for a while I think. Life is getting just too busy to keep up with everything. And I've been feeling a need to simplify, so the blog is getting simplified.

Fall

Our table before the food.
The boys "playing" Wii
Making pumpkin pies
Talking with Grandma.

I think he's trying to check out his nose in this one.

We've had a very eventful few weeks. We had a great Thanksgiving with our family and the boys were loving having so many people to play with. I have to say that I think I was loving it even more. :)
Elijah is growing and doing baby things. He is smiling and he's laughed twice now. Enjoy the pictures.

My Second Tag

So Heather was kind enough to not tag me, but I thought I'd do it anyway. You're supposed to post the 4th picture in your 4th picture folder. My 4th folder happens to be Isaac's pictures from age 3 and this is what came up. Good times at the pumpkin patch.

My First Tag

Well, it's not my first tag, but it's the first one I've actually done. Thanks Sandy. I have to share 7 random facts about myself. Here goes:
1. It makes me nervous to hold other peoples' newborns. I'm always afraid I will drop/hurt them in some way.
2. Since having children, I much prefer online shopping to shopping in person (at least when I'm toting kids along).
3. My favorite season is Fall.
4. I'm not a procrastinator. Even in High School I would start working on projects the day they were assigned. I don't do well with last minute assignments.
5. I don't like watching the news. Well, we don't have TV right now so it's not really an option, but even if it were, I'd rather watch The Biggest Loser/The Office/Survivor.
6. My favorite movies are period pieces - Wives and Daughters, P&P, Emma, S&S, Cranford, etc.
7. I love Abba!

Without Further Adeiu (spelling?)

Okay, it's been a while since I posted pictures so here's a big jumble for you. Elijah is now 8 days old and doing very well. I also posted some pics of when we went to this awesome pumpkin patch and the boys had a blast. And of course, yesterday was Halloween so check out the boys. Isaac was "super Isaac" and Lincoln was a frog.

Just for me

This post is mostly for me...to remember. The boys have been great today. Jon had a big talk with them last night. Anyway, today while I was making dinner, the boys were playing with their legos. Isaac made Lincoln an airplane and came down to show me. Then he went back up to see what Lincoln was doing. This is what I heard.
Isaac, "Lincoln, you're making something different now?"
Lincoln, "Yeah."
Isaac, "Oh, what is it?"
Lincoln, "It's a camel chicken dog."
I've been sick the past couple of days with a nasty cold/cough. I started laughing so hard that my throat killed from the coughing. But it was worth it. I think a camel chicken dog could come in really handy. You could ride it, get eggs from it and play with it. And it could store it's own fat (thanks Elizabeth) so you wouldn't have to feed it much.
